In case of bad weather, girls may spend extra time in their dorms.  Be prepared with
games, etc. for this time.

Most rotations will be large.  You are required to attend rotations with your girls.
Please be available to help the rotation leaders and jump in where needed.  This is
especially important with the 1st and 2nd graders.

Make sure all girls attend all activities.  The only reason for not attending is illness, in
which case they should immediately see a nurse.

Be aware of the location of your campers at all times.  Remember that the encampment
is an open campus.  Although girls are not allowed to leave the campus at any time,
Palacios residents do walk along the seawall at all times of the day and night.

You are responsible for seeing that your girls are in the proper classes, and that they
abide by the camp rules and conduct themselves in a proper Christian manner.  But
please do not hesitate to correct other girls, especially if they are not with a counselor.
We all need to act as good examples and lead all of the girls in the right path.

Girls should be responsible for cleaning the dorm each day.  This can be done by
assigning duties to each church in the room on a rotation system.

All dorms must be checked by TBE staff before leaving on Friday.

Please limit the calls home to Free Time only.  It is good to discourage this altogether
due to homesickness.  A good idea for those girls who insist on calling home is to wait
until right before their afternoon rotation begin.  Let girls prepare for the afternoon by
putting on their swimsuits and then allow them to call home.  When their minds are
occupied with the thought of swimming, etc. they are less likely to become homesick.

A nurse is available 24 hours a day for necessary treatment.  A counselor must
accompany the girls to the nurse.  Please understand that the nurse is here to hand
out necessary medication and for emergency care.

All counselors in the dorm (or in camp) should feel responsible for all other girls in the
dorm (or at camp).

Dress code is the same for counselors as it is for the girls.  Please set a good example
and dress properly.
